Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge the land we are meeting on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Welcome to Ruba's Circle

Ruba's Circle prerogative stems from my purpose in life which is uplifting vulnerable communities in all aspects of life.

I bring three decades of uniquely diverse experience in navigating, evaluating and implementing various community-building projects whether nationally or internationally, in times of war and peace.  I honed expertise and skills in identifying challenges, gaps, and needs followed by authentic and impactful solutions that tackle systemic barriers at the root.

In my work, I faced systemic challenges that were supposedly designed to be solutions for peace building. Often there were gaps between the intentions and the impacts of projects. These gaps purely resulted from lack of awareness and evidential data.

I see countless opportunities to enhance corporate, non-profit, and start-up programs and projects, to create change that is socially sensible and contributes positively to our world. If change is not grounded in passion, resilience, ethics and empathy, it will continue to produce stifled outcomes. This shift in thought process is acknowledged by the Canadian government, both provincial and federal.

We do hard things through community. In my amazing journey, I've collaborated with many skilled, resilient, passionate and hardworking individuals, and by creating this circle, I bring them with me.

Being a neurodivergent, a physically limited person, or differently abled, sensory deprived, or even living with marginalized intersectionality should never be something you try to overcome, but something that adds value, complexity and depth in any context.
